Pulse
Post the update that does not need a group announcement.
Pulse is Idle's quick feed for short posts, photos, links, polls, replies, likes, reposts, mentions, and public meet cards.
Public feed
If the plan is private, Pulse is the wrong place for it.
Use Pulse for posts you are comfortable sharing across the Idle community. Keep group-only and invite-only plans in the group or message where they were shared.
01
Posts and photos
Say it while it is still current.
- Share a short update or photo when it is useful now.
- Comment, reply, like, or repost when a post is worth keeping in the feed.
- If a photo or post fails, check the content and your connection, then try again.
02
Links and meet cards
Attach the meet instead of retyping it.
- Add useful web links when they help the post or comment.
- Attach public meet cards where supported so people can open the full plan.
- Keep private, group-only, or invite-only meets in the right space instead of posting them to Pulse.
03
Polls and mentions
Ask one question. Mention only who needs it.
- Use polls for meet plans, routes, opinions, and local car-scene decisions.
- Mention drivers or groups when they are relevant and visible to you.
- A post may disappear if it is deleted, reported, hidden, blocked, or no longer available to you.
What is Idle Pulse?
Pulse is Idle's quick car-scene feed for short updates, photos, links, comments, likes, reposts, mentions, polls, and public meet cards.
Can I attach a meet to a Pulse post?
You can attach public meet cards where supported. Keep private, group-only, or invite-only meets in the spaces where they belong.
Can Pulse polls help with meet plans?
Yes. Pulse polls are quick questions for meet plans, routes, opinions, and local car-scene decisions. Current Pulse polls cannot be combined with photo posts or public meet cards.
Will every Pulse post stay visible?
Not always. A post may disappear if it is deleted, reported, hidden, blocked, or no longer available to you.
Open Pulse when there is something worth posting.
Share the update, add the relevant public meet, and leave private plans where they belong.
