Trust & Safety
Know what Idle can help with. Know what it cannot.
Idle can keep a meet plan current, give people privacy controls, and provide ways to block or report a problem. It cannot replace your judgment, confirm every venue, or make a real-world event risk-free.
Before you go
Check the plan. Then check your own situation.
Confirm the time, address, host, latest update, parking notes, weather, and route before leaving. A listing, badge, RSVP count, or map pin is information, not a guarantee.
At the meet
You can leave whenever the plan stops feeling right.
- Follow the host's parking plan and any direction from authorized venue staff, property owners, or emergency personnel.
- Do not let a crowd, a camera, or another driver pressure you into a launch, burnout, race, or unsafe drive home.
- If a meet is overcrowded, shut down, moved, or materially different from the post, slow down and decide whether leaving is the safer choice.
Your privacy
Not every plan needs to be public.
- Profile, group, meet, and location visibility can depend on the choices available for that feature and the people allowed to see it.
- Group-only and invite-only information should stay with the audience it was shared with.
- Convoy location sharing is an active-drive feature. Review the sharing choice before joining, and leave the Convoy when you no longer want to participate.
Blocking
Create distance without starting another conversation.
- Blocking can reduce contact and visibility in messages, connections, activity, and other supported social surfaces.
- A block may not erase every past interaction everywhere immediately.
- Manage blocked accounts from Idle settings where that option is available.
Reporting
Send the part that shows what happened.
- Report the user, message, meet, group, or Pulse item closest to the problem so the relevant context travels with it.
- Include what happened, where it happened, and when. Screenshots can help when they do not expose unrelated private information.
- Reporting sends an issue to Idle for review. It does not promise a particular outcome or immediate response.
What Idle does
Idle can respond to the platform. It does not run the parking lot.
- Idle may review reports and restrict accounts, content, meets, or access when reasonably necessary for safety or platform integrity.
- Idle does not supervise every meet, perform background checks, confirm every venue permission, or guarantee a person or event.
- Idle is not emergency response. Contact local emergency services first when someone may be in immediate danger.
Something needs review
Report a user or piece of content from the closest available surface in Idle.

You want the data details

Safety starts before the drive.
