- Open the flyer, time, location, host, RSVP, parking notes, directions, and updates.
- Public meets and group-only meets appear according to your access.
E85 & photo spots
Know where you are fueling and what you are mixing.
- Look for nearby E85 stops, then confirm the station before driving. See the E85 finder.
- Browse approved, community-rated places to photograph a car. See photo spots.
- Recommend new photo spots and rate approved locations.
- Use saved vehicle fuel details and the ethanol calculator for blend planning. Explore the calculator.
Host meets
Publish the details people will ask for.
- Add the time, location, host credit, visibility, rules, and notes.
- Create a flyer from the meet and share it without retyping the plan.
- Add parking plans, ride-out details, and pre-meets when they help attendees.
- Pick up local meet drafts and add an optional end time when a meet has a clear window.
- Credit another host clearly when posting on their behalf.
- Official Idle posts can be clearly attributed to Idle.
Host Tools
Change the plan without sending everyone hunting.
- Review active, upcoming, and past hosted meets.
- Post a host update when timing, weather, parking, or another detail changes.
- Edit the flyer, parking guidance, ride-out plan, and supported meet details.
- Use Host again to bring back a successful meet with a fresh future date.
Profiles & garage
Show the car behind the username.
- Create a driver profile with your garage, socials, badges, and meet history.
- Add cars or bikes with gallery photos and a primary vehicle.
- Document modifications, owner-reported power, performance results, and optional photo proof where Build & Performance is available.
- Crop garage photos and blur a license plate before saving when you want to.
- Use eligible profile options such as supporter badges, photo rings, and profile card decor with Idle membership.
- Choose whether your profile location appears.
- Save fuel details for your build when useful.
- Share your profile with an IdleCode. Explore garage profiles.
Pulse
Post the quick stuff.
- Share short posts, photos, polls, comments, likes, and reposts. Explore Pulse.
- Open Pulse photos full screen, zoom in, swipe them away, or save them to Photos.
- Attach public meet cards so people can open the full plan.
- Mention drivers and groups to keep the right people in the conversation.
- Share useful links with a clear browser handoff.
Groups
Discussion for later. Chat for right now.
- Create or join groups for crews, private requests, discussion, chat, and group-only meets. Explore groups.
- Invite the right drivers and manage member roles with clear group tools.
- Use group discussion for longer updates and group chat for quick coordination.
- Mention group members when a chat message needs their attention.
- Tune alerts for each group you belong to.
Messages & connections
Pick up where the meet left off.
- Connect with drivers you know and coordinate with your circle.
- Message accepted connections before and after the meet, with retry controls when a send fails.
- Open shared photos full screen, zoom in, swipe them away, or save them to Photos.
- Share a short status with connections when you are rolling out or looking for plans.
- Send a Convoy invite to a connection from inside Idle.
Forums / Limited preview
Keep useful car knowledge easy to find.
- Browse focused car-community conversations while Forums continue through a limited preview.
- Search and save Threads, follow Forums, and revisit your Threads and Replies from My Posts.
- Create Threads and Replies, mark useful contributions as Helpful, and use reporting or blocking when needed.
- Direct reply alerts can reopen the exact Thread, with a separate Forum replies notification setting.
Convoys
Share the drive with the people in it.
- Start or join a short-lived Convoy with a code or link. Explore Convoys.
- Choose whether to share live location while actively in the Convoy.
- Keep active Convoy status visible with Live Activities where supported.
CarPlay
Upcoming meets, without the full app on the dash.
- View eligible upcoming mapped meets when signed in on iPhone.
- Open quick meet details from the CarPlay map.
- Start Apple Maps directions from supported meet locations.
Widgets & Live Activities
Put the next plan where you will see it.
- See your next public meet at a glance with an iPhone widget.
- Keep meet-day details visible with Live Activities where supported.
- Open the relevant meet or Convoy quickly from supported system surfaces.
Safety & privacy
Decide who sees what.
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or email, then manage linked methods from one Idle account.
- Choose what parts of your profile are visible.
- Control notification, map, media, appearance, and account settings.
- Choose Forum reply alerts while important safety notices remain on.
- Review permissions when you want nearby meets, weather, reminders, and Activity alerts to work their best.
- Report content and block accounts when needed.
Demo mode
Look around before signing up.
- Explore sample meets, groups, Pulse, messages, garage content, and connections.
- Use demo mode as a local preview of the app experience.
- Switch to a real account when you are ready to use Idle with your own profile.
