Steps
- Sign into Idle on your iPhone first.
- Connect your iPhone to CarPlay.
- Open Idle on CarPlay.
- Review eligible upcoming mapped meets.
- Open details or start Apple Maps directions when available.
What to expect
CarPlay is intentionally narrower than the iPhone app. It is for upcoming mapped meets and directions, not signing in, onboarding, messages, Pulse, or broad social browsing.
CarPlay may briefly show Loading while Idle restores your account and eligible meet plans. Depending on what is ready, it can show sign-in guidance, profile guidance, no mapped meets, or the meet map.
Troubleshooting
- Loading does not finishOpen Idle on your iPhone and confirm you are signed in and your profile is available.
- No meets shownConfirm you are signed in on iPhone and have eligible upcoming mapped meets.
- Group meet missingGroup-only meets appear only when your account has access.
- Directions failCollect the meet title, location, city, and whether Apple Maps opened.
