Steps
- Open Convoys in Idle.
- Start a new Convoy or enter a join code from another driver.
- Share the code, link, or a Messages invite with the drivers who should join.
- Choose whether to share location while actively in the Convoy.
- Leave when done, or end the Convoy if you are the host.
What to expect
Convoys are meant for active members. They are not a public map or permanent tracker. Expired, ended, or left Convoys should not keep acting like active drives.
Troubleshooting
- Code will not joinConfirm the code is current and that you are signed in.
- Messages invite will not joinThe Convoy may have ended, expired, or become full.
- Link opens the websiteConfirm Idle is installed on that iPhone and try opening the link again.
- Convoy looks inactiveIt may have ended or expired.
Privacy note
You should not see member locations until you join an active Convoy and members choose to share. For concerns, email support@idlemeets.com.
Driving safety
Set up or change Convoy settings while parked. Do not interact with Idle while driving.
