How Convoy location sharing works

Sharing options

• Foreground sharingShare location while using Idle during the active Convoy.
• Share While LockedContinue sharing while locked only when you choose that mode and iPhone Settings allows Idle Always Location.
• Stop sharingTurn sharing off, leave the Convoy, or end the Convoy if you are the host.

What to expect

Other active members should only see shared location from members who choose to share. Sharing should stop when you stop sharing, leave, the host ends the Convoy, or the Convoy expires.

Troubleshooting

• Location not visibleConfirm Location Services are on and that you tapped the share-location control.
• Locked sharing stopsConfirm Idle has Always Location permission and that you chose Share While Locked.
• Privacy concernStop sharing or leave the Convoy, then contact support if location still appears active.
