Posting for another host and Host credit

How it works

1. In the Host flow, choose the option to post for another host when it applies.
2. Select the credit source, such as an Idle profile, Instagram, or Facebook.
3. Review the public host credit before publishing.
4. If you are credited through an Idle profile, you may be able to confirm the credit or mark it Not mine.

What to expect

Host credit is public attribution. The signed-in poster still manages the Idle post, including edit, cancel, and Host Tools access, unless Idle changes those permissions in the future.

Troubleshooting

• Wrong host creditedIf the option appears, the credited person can choose Not mine.
• Cannot confirm creditConfirm you are signed into the exact Idle account that was credited.
• Social credit will not saveCheck that the Instagram or Facebook link is valid.
