Steps

  1. Open Idle on your iPhone.
  2. Go to the sign-in screen.
  3. Tap the password reset or forgot password option.
  4. Enter the email address used for your Idle account.
  5. Open the reset email on the same iPhone when possible.
  6. Follow the link and create a new password.
  7. Return to Idle and sign in with the new password.

If you use Sign in with Apple

Idle does not control your Apple ID password. Use Apple's account recovery or iPhone Settings to manage your Apple ID.

If the email does not arrive

  • Check the exact emailMake sure you entered the same email you used for Idle.
  • Check spam or junkPassword reset emails can sometimes land outside your main inbox.
  • Wait a few minutesEmail delivery is usually quick, but it can be delayed.
  • Contact supportIf it still does not work, email idle@engineer.com.
